"If you're going to be against gay rights you should really take that pole out of your ass." - Triump the Insult Comic Dog
Triumph said that to a really conservative senator; it was awesome. Anyway, I found out yesterday that the people behind Wikipedia are working on Wikinews now. The interview in that link is slanted to try to intimidate Jimmy Wales because Cnet thinks it's going to flop. I think it's a really cool idea though and considering that Wikipedia works so well, I think that you'll have more people who are interested in serious news than people who want to just put up prank stuff. It should work out fine if they execute it right, what do you guys think? Feel free to comment about it.
I have some movie news today! The Ring Two trailer is now online.
Apparantly I'm the only person who thought that The Ring was a good movie. A few parts were creepy, but more importantly it was made surprisingly well for a horror movie. I don't like movies that try to scare you by startling you like the first Ring Two trailer did (this new one doesn't thankfully). I think that movies like The Shining that buildup a sense of uneasiness are much better. Yahoo! Movies has the first five minutes from Elektra online now. You can judge for yourself, but I still think that movie will blow. I don't know if they're capable of an accurate portrayal of Elektra from the looks of those trailers and commercials. Plus, there are a lot of corny lines in just that one 5-minute clip.
All you Grand Theft Auto 3 fans out there should check out Grand Theftendo. This really 1337 programmer is making an homage to the game in an NES format.
He made his own NES emulator to run the game even! He has some articles about how he did certain parts of the game (like mapping out the city and making the emulator in Assembly and such).
Don't forget to set your VCRs to record 2 hours of 24 starting at 7PM CST tomorrow night in case you forget to watch! I highly reccomend the show to anyone who hasn't seen it, and there are no reruns so start watching now!
