Back to the Grind

Anyone else think that Amanda Peet is underrated?

In the past few days I saw her in Saving Silverman and The Whole Nine Yards (again) and I realized how hot she is. Anyone else bothered by the recent influx of marathons on tv? During the semester I watch little tv except for the shows I download (Jack and Bobby, Smallville, Daily Show, Joey, Southpark, soon 24 and Chappelle's Show) so I bask in the laziness of cable tv whenever I come to Houston. There's this Viva La Bam marathon that always seems to be on on MTV and Comedy Central has been showing Saving Silverman at least once a day and I know that USA has shown Coyote Ugly at least 4 times in the past week. Not that I don't think Piper Perabo looks good, but it's just too much. The only marathon I haven't minded is Chappelle's Show :) I'm really surprised that no one has done a 24 marathon. I think ABC Family is running a Smallville marathon itself, but I can never watch any episode of that show more than once (except Nicodemus).

Not a whole lot else on my mind. The weekend was fun but now I have my last full week of class this week before the final and I have to keep on trucking til I can finally go back to Austin. Class isn't that bad, but it's just much funner and, thus, easier to deal with at UT than HCC Stafford. Any of you who shopped online (admit it!) may be interested to know that you helped boost sales by 24%. For the Linux fans, check out this interesting article on Linux's role in gaming and why it's lagging behind Windows XP. I don't know much about Linux but if it's more stable and secure than Windows I'm all for it. And lastly, I hope that some of you caught 60 minutes last night =D
